I have updated kernel to 3.16 tomorrow. After reboot gdm3 crashes on start and trying to restart for few times. After that it brings me back in the terminal. I found next strings in the log (using journalctl for gdm.service)
arch-linux gdm-Xorg-:0[406]: (EE) systemd-logind: failed to get session: PID 406 does not belong to any known sessionAfter than we can meet next strings:
arch-linux gdm[334]: Failed to give slave programs access to the display. Trying to proceed. This line repeats in log for 5 times and finally log ends with:
arch-linux gdm[334]: GdmLocalDisplayFactory: maximum number of X display failures reached: check X server log for errorsI've disabled autostart of gdm service, logined in terminal and started gdm.service manually. It solves the problem of entering the DE, but it isn't good solution. I think my problem is with systemd-logind. Any ideas? Thank you for advices.
