[SOLVED] Remastering Arch Linux ISO Please Help

[SOLVED] Hello to all my friends this is my first time posting in the forum.
I would really like your help to tell me how can i create my own custom arch linux iso. I have done alot of editing like adding new menu entries installing scripts on /usr/bin/ and /usr/share/ directory and many other things at my existing arch linux system to create a programming distribution and i want to completely remaster it so i can also use it at my office just as i use it at my home. I cannot understand things from archiso. Please can anyone explain me step by step instruction to completely remaster the my arch linux and create an iso like you can say a clone of my existing system. i would really appreciate your help.

Have you already read the Archiso wiki page?

I'm moving this to "Installation" for now because it is not a newbie question.

Re: [SOLVED] Remastering Arch Linux ISO Please Help

The archiso wiki page is a stepwise tutorial for this. And English may not be your first language, but please learn how to use at least a little bit of interpunction and capitalization. The way you are writing now is almost impossible to understand.

Re: [SOLVED] Remastering Arch Linux ISO Please Help

BRO The things which I'm trying to ask is that. How can i remaster my arch iso with my all my packages currently installed on my System?
I followed the instructions on archiso wiki page. But the thing which I am unableto understand is that. How can i copy all the files from /USR/BIN/ and /USR/SHARE/ directory?
Because all my files and scripts are installed in those directories not in /ETC directory......

Why would this not do exactly what you want?

I am now the thirdsecond moderator to tell you to read the wiki.
Either that, or tell us why we are all wrong.

Edit: Sorry, I thought I had seen Trilby in here as well.

The key line is:

wiki wrote:

The airootfs directory acts as an overlay, think of it as root directory '/' on your current system, so any files you place within this directory will be copied over on boot-up.

I think you are hung up on the etc examples.  You can have a directory: ~/archlive/releng/airootfs/usr/share

Re: [SOLVED] Remastering Arch Linux ISO Please Help

Ammarhah, I'm glad ewaller was able to lead you to a good solution.  I also see you've made an effort to respond to 2ManyDog's request for punctuation - it has helped a bit.  But please do continue to make an effort to type clearly: use punctuation to separate ideas, but avoid excessive and/or innappropriate punctuation.

It may seem odd, but it generally is highly appreciated when we can see others are at least striving for clarity.  You will get much warmer responses if you continue to show you are striving for that.

If the issue of this thread is fully resolved, please edit your first post and prepend "[SOLVED]" to the title.
