I have sucessfully installed bumblebee and bbswitch. One thing that isn't working now is the power management of the laptop. If I try to suspend/restart/shutdown, it instead just hangs.
I tried a couple of things to narrow the problem down, but come to a dead end. What I've tried so far:
no bumblebee and card enabled: works
bo bumblebee and card disabled: freezes
bumblebee and card enabled: freezes
bumblebee and card disabled: freezes
bumblebee and bbswitch unloaded: works
I also set the following in /etc/bumblebee/bumblebee.conf
And enabled the following systemd service:
[Unit] Description=Enable NVIDIA card DefaultDependencies=no [Service] Type=oneshot ExecStart=/bin/sh -c 'echo ON > /proc/acpi/bbswitch' [Install] WantedBy=shutdown.target WantedBy=hibernate.target WantedBy=hybrid-sleep.target WantedBy=reboot.target WantedBy=sleep.target WantedBy=suspend.target
Unfortunately those didn't work either.
The Laptop is a Lenovo Thinkpad T440P with a Geforce GT 730M
