ftp

I've configured all my settings for my network, and when attempting to start the network manually, I'm informed that it is already running, which obviously suggests I've configured it correctly. However, I cannot seem to access FTP. I want to get onto ftp.alsa-project.org to configure my sound driver, but get "host not found" errors when using snarf. Please can you help me?

Re: ftp

Now, you need to check 2 things :
- is your routing table correct ? (man route, and the getway entries in /etc/rc.conf)
- is your name server correct ? - /etc/resolv.conf and section 3.1.7 in http://www.archlinux.org/docs/archdoc_us.html
