[SOLVED] CMD script - Doesnt seem to work

Upon booting from the ArchLinux install cd, i ran the cmd

script install-log.txt

when running ls I can see the file has been created, however any bash command I enter, output I see, errors etc, nothing appears in that file like I thought it was supposed to.

How can I save all my cmds and output to this file?

Thanks

Could you post an md5 hash of that file so that i can compare it to my version?

I have solved this issue, you must type exit after running script file, then your file will be populated with your session.
