OpenJFX

Hey,

now that openJDK 8 is in repositories, I'm wodnering why isn't the JavaFX built in?

Moreover, OpenJFX is not found neither in repositories, neither in AUR? Where can I find it?

Oracle JDK is out out the question.

Re: OpenJFX

this thread has some info :   https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=179243

As for openjfx, it does look like someone needs to create a package for it.

You can try it yourself, or ask someone to do it for you.
I suggest you post in "AUR Issues, Discussion & PKGBUILD Requests" about it.

You might want to include some info why having openjfx in aur/archlinux would be a good thing.

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
