Hello!
I've installed Arch first time and everything looks good.
One problem - I start playing mp3 file in vlc and if skype makes any sound (somebody logon or logoff, or I make any sound test in skype), vlc stops playing (pauses).
Does anybody know what the problem is?
Thank you.

So you probably run pulseaudio to run skype. Maybe vlc is grabbing hardware.
aplay -lL; lspci -vvnn | grep -A1 '040[1-3]'; cat /proc/asound/modules; amixer -c 0;
lsusb #if there is a usb sound card;
# or use the alsa-info script
# run fuser when vlc plays
fuser -v /dev/snd/*
# run it when skyp plays test sounds
# and if you can when both try to use audio

Looks like you are right, I'm using pulseaudio for skype.

sorry, I'm not good with audio system at all, what do you mean "try to use audio"?

Please use

tags for output of commands or scripts. Correct your post.
You need alsa-utils package to run aplay and amixer. Edit your post and paste the correct results.
Edit: Clarification.

After installation alsa-utils everything works, thank you
Could you give me any link to read about audio system?
Thank you for your help

Arch Linux wiki would be a good start. You probably want to set PCH as default, but that may occur later on. Your hdmi is set as default sound card now, but pulseaudio takes care of that. If it works, you can leave it at that. Should something come up, set PCH as default using modprobe options:
options snd-hda-intel index=1,0
Could it be that you cut of the output of lspci? Only one sound card is showing, try:
lspci -vvnn | grep -A1 -i audio
Should that be the case, please edit your previous post and add the information. You are welcome.
