Firefox plugins not working after updates [solved]

I'm surprised nobody else has written in about this ... am I the only one affected?

I updated mozilla-firefox to 1.5.0.1-2 yesterday, and updated mozilla-common, j2re, mplayer-plugin, and flashplugin today. Firefox was running during the update, so I restarted it. I can't see any java, video, or flash anymore.

I even tried creating a fresh profile, in case something went wrong. No luck whatsoever.

edit: umm... nevermind, a complete reboot fixed it. I wonder what happened.

The plugins have moved to /opt/mozilla/lib/plugins. The updated mozilla-common package should reflect this change, but it becomes active after a user logs in...
