Hi guys. After installing the Linux Kernel 3.16, my laptop Lenovo IdeaPad U510 did not restart correctly or turned off. First, the process took too long off for not dismounting partitions correctly. Sometimes taking too stopping some processes as libvirtd.service. I deactivated that process and fading faster.
Then it was stuck when it came to the Power Off, and had to shut down manually using the power button. The same thing happened when I tried to restart the laptop.
I solved this temporarily using the LTS Linux Kernel. The problem with the LTS kernel, is that when the laptop goes to sleep mode when the session resumed takes a while to respond. This does not happen with 3.16 Kernel.
To all this I add that occasionally I get this message (more times) when I have no idea what is.
systemd-journald[150]: Failed to write entry (13 items, 351 bytes), ignoring: Bad address Thanks

I still have my problem. It's definitely something that was added in the 3.16 Kernel. For now I have no problems with using the LTS Kernel. ![]()
