Unpredictable system freezes

My computer started to randomly freeze. System stays frozen, until I press some key on keyboard.
So far, it freezes when system was resumed from hibernate. At least, I did not encounter any when I just shutdown the PC.

I am unable to find the culprit, and I don't see anything in logs. Although, I suspect that might be related to 'usb 1-3: device not accepting address' during boot.

I also find that it is more likely to freeze during package downloading.

Re: Unpredictable system freezes

When did it start? What was upgraded at/around the time it started freezing (pacman.log)? What have you already tried in the way of "find[ing] the culprit"?

I can't tell exactly when it started. However, shortly before it started, my PSU died, and I replaced it with backup one.

Well, not much, I tried to look at logs to see if there is anything related. I really don't know how to deal with such issues.

I noticed that freezes are very frequent when I downloading something, e.g. packages (but they still occur randomly even when I disconnected from network).
System does not freeze completely, everything "unfreezes" when I press something on my keyboard. And freezes appear only after I resume it from suspend or hibernation.

Though I'm only going on hunches and conjecture, you might try either downgrading the Kernel or using an LTS Kernel. If it's related to some system driver(s) -- like certain WiFi cards, or other "new" stuff -- an LTS Kernel might suit you better.
