Hello,
I am new at Arch (but not new on linux). I was having problems with drivers since I was trying to install NVIDIA driver and intel integrated gpu driver. I am not sure - I think I don't need any additional drivers because arch told me that I already have them. I have optimus laptop (or to be sure - intel integrated gpu with NVIDIA gpu). Laptop is ASUS N550JV. Didn't find much information about it at arch wiki about this laptop.
I have few questions - how can I find out that....for example - minecraft, uses intel integrated GPU, or NVIDIA GPU (on my arch is labelled as 3D controller idk why)? does it use both of them?
Sorry I really don't know anything about graphics drivers on Arch - I have never installed any in the past.
(P.S. Last time I tried to install some drivers of NVIDIA (not remember, not sure) and I got GUI working, but minecraft didnt start by saying that something (a method, whatever) didn't start. It was working before installing. Now I re installed my arch few days ago)

I'd suggest you read this wiki page if you didn't already.
For myself I am using bumblebee which works quite well. Make sure to read the according wiki page for that too.
I put at button on it. Yes. I wish to press it, but I'm not sure what will happen if I do. (Gune | Titan A.E.)

I did - got so many problems like "Screen not found" etc. My intel integrated GPU can be found as VGA, but NVIDIA - as 3D controller.
This is just too freaky complicated for me... ![]()

That's okay. nothing wrong here.

I guess that is why you are asking for help, and that is okay too ![]()
So what exactly is your goal?
What did you do so far and what did not work?
To find out which card is used as default you could run
glxgears -infoI put at button on it. Yes. I wish to press it, but I'm not sure what will happen if I do. (Gune | Titan A.E.)

Am pretty sure its Intel integrated GPU only. Any way to get NVIDIA primary? Oh, and by the way, could you tell me what (and how) graphics drivers I should install to support 32bit apps and/or games?
EDIT: After installing steam, it offered me to install lib32-blablablawhatever drivers for all possible graphics cards. So I installed nouveau and intel (nvidia got conflict with meta or mesa or... dont remember) and got working 32bit apps FINE! But still not sure about intel gpu and NVIDIA gpu, which one is being used...
This is what minecraft tells me about gpu (or wharever it is - driver): http://i.gyazo.com/f181da50bd678053ae53c9f3b37a511d.png

I would start here if I were you:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Bumblebee
Unfortunately, Arch requires some knowledge of Linux, etc. to get the most out of it. Obviously, feel free to ask questions, but a couple of your questions are answer in the Wiki(s) linked. If you're stuck on a paticular step, definitely ask, but also tell what you have done, what output you received, etc.
