Hello Arch Community,
I have installed arch many times on a few of my systems in the past. Right now I am trying to install on an HP G6-1b60us with a Ralink RT5390 Wi-Fi chip. I can see APs using Wi-Fi-menu in terminal but when I try to connect (after entering password) I get dropped from the network. Ethernet works fine. Also Wi-Fi has worked in every distribution I have tried in the past except Arch ON THIS SYSTEM.
Now I love Arch and I refuse to go back to any other distro. I am pretty sure the modules for this chipset have been in all LTS kernels since 3.9. So the support is there.
Now what logs can I provide that will help? I tried the commands here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Wi … nformation
But they didn't work. I can tell you my interface name is wlo1 (NOT wlan1)
If I can provide any logs that may help please let me know what commands to run. I am a fast learner but I am not sure if I need to provide a log with connecting to the AP or what.
This is my Card: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/rt5390/
But I did not install this. Theh comments steer me away I am using the modules that are compiled in the kernel (3.16.4.1-ARCH)
Thanks all
