Libreoffice in KDE 4.14.4 does not use my systemfont

Hello!

As the title says I have set up libreoffice with "libreoffice-still" and "libreofiice-still-kde4" within KDE 4.14.4.
As I cannot see very well I have set my fonts to use "Lucida Gr" or "Lucida MAC" fonts which I installed like all my fonts according to the infinality-font article from the Archwiki. These fonts are a bit bolder than most others so I can get a bit more contrast when reading ...

This works quite nice even for non-KDE applications like filezilla, handbrake, even firefox (without any extra KDE integration measures).

Now Libreoffice does not apply these settings, well, at least not all of them.
First I tried "libreoffice-fresh", but found no KDE-integration package - the libreoffice Archwiki article only mentions "libreoffice-still-kde4" - so I installed "libreoffice-still" and "libreoffice-still-kde4" and the libreoffice applications liek writer, calc and so forth ...

Sad thing is whatever settings I try I can't get the same menu font as in all other applications.
I used the systemsettings tool for gtk applications to set the fonts to the same as the KDE ones, that works fine for all other programs (see above).

I do not understand the logic here:
I don't think font replacement settings in LO is the place to change menu fonts, besides I do not know which font it is that is used in LO menus - this nowhere shows.

I tried coping the lucida.ttf and lucida.pfb files to my ~/.fonts directory. These are the only files in there, and still no change.

plz help someone,
it's really no fun to have this completely different look for LO,

thx, piedro

Use libreoffice-gnome instead of libreoffice-kde4 and it will look 1000 times better with the oxygen-gtk3 style (at least in my opinion).

I'm currently not on KDE, but if I remember correctly you can set the fonts for GTK applications with kde-gtk-config. There should be a new tab for GTK in system settings under appearance when installed.

Re: Libreoffice in KDE 4.14.4 does not use my systemfont

I am running KDE + libreoffice-fresh and it is working fine. Changing the fonts with systemsettings -> application appearance -> fonts works for libreoffice-fresh. No need to use kde-gtk-config.
Here is an example of how libreoffice looks on my system:

PS: Icons are Sifr

Hello tumas!

Look at your status bar - for me (I have some problems with my eyes) the status bar has to respect these settings also and also all diaolog boxes like "open files" which uses wrong smaller fonts and smaller icons...

I create a new thread... to specify...

thx everybody,
piedro

p.s.: the Sifr icons are beautiful! - I'll try to use them
