Problem with Wireless Keyboard and Mouse

Hi,

I have an A4Tech Padless 7200N wireless mouse and keyboard with one multi-link Receiver. The mouse is working perfectly. However, the keyboard does not work. When I press 1 it is like mouse left button and 2 is like mouse right button. Other buttons does not work. Is the problem in the drivers or somewhere else?

Thank so much in advance!!!

Re: Problem with Wireless Keyboard and Mouse

Easy things first: check the location or the wireless tx/rx unit - is it a USB dongle or something you could move closer to the keyboard? Try that - but first also double check the state of the batteries within the keyboard and their contacts.

Then have look at your dmesg and /var/log/Xorg.0.log and see if there are any errors or warnings related to the keyboard.

Re: Problem with Wireless Keyboard and Mouse

I figured out the problem, but I don't know how to fix it.

Xorg just reads my wireless keyboard as a joystick and there it is his log after inserting the USB dongle.
