Hi all, I have same problem as topic
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=183869
with libmtp 1.1.8 and sync Nokia Lumia 630 with gnome and gvfs-mtp.
I tried edit add_lumia630.patch and make package from source, but no luck.

You will be more likely to elicit help if you can explain what is is you have done and the results.

Everything is in last thread that I posted, I thing...
libmpt does not contains support for Lumia 630, cell phones is identified by vendor id and product id, correct vendor id for Lumia 630 is "0420" and product id is "06fc".
on Gnome syncing files with cell phones is provided by gvfs-mtp package, depending on libmtp library.
for last version libmtp library (1.1.6) was succesfull make package with PKGBUILD and add_lumia630.patch - described on last thread that I posted.
I tried edit add_lumia630.patch to patch newone version 1.1.8, but with no luck, makepkg ends with error.
I tried edit source, know devices are in file music-players.h > I overwrite WP8 phone to my Lumia 630 vendor and product ids.
I compiled this changed package by ./configure | make | sudo make install, after that I can use mtp commands like mtp-detect, but thats all.
Showing connected cell phone is provided by udev rule but nautilus by gvfs-mtp package and nautilus says: No MTP device...
