Thanks to everybody

Hello,

I want to thank the developers for making Arch and enjoy my linux time. Also thanx to all forum residents who helpt me solving problems.
I just bought an iMac so there won't be any linux for me for the moment.

Have fun with your iMac. Wish I could get a Mac to go along with my Arch box, even though I wouldn't use it all the time.

Well, you can always donate that iMac to me, so you'll be able to continue to use Arch

Do you have the Core Duo version?

WIll there be any problems running Arch on an Intel Mac? I read something about a new BIOS component, that Windows can't handle, has anyone read reports about Linux on Intel Macs?

It's called "EFI", extended firmware i-something.

Gentoo's already running on an i(ntel)Mac. Fedora has set this as an explicit goal, afaik. In the long run the entire Linux community will take advantage of this, I think.
