GnuPG - installed but can't configure it.

Two issues:

1) I want to use curses instead of gtk to pw input

I can't find this anywhere on my installation. Viewing hidden files and folders and ran a complete search recursively starting from /

~/.gnupg/gpg-agent.conf

No folder. No .conf. According to the wiki it should be at /home or /home/user by default.

2) When I use the

gpg --decrypt

command, paste the entire encrpted text and enter my pw. Then I get this response:

note: random_seed file is empty

I have scoured this wiki page looking for an answer. Maybe I have overlooked it. Any suggestions?

1. https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/GPG#Pinentry (In Arch nothing gets put in your $HOME for you: create the file if it isn't present)

2. Probably related to 1, insofar as you haven't set up GPG properly

Re: GnuPG - installed but can't configure it.

Solved... partially. Although I still get the

note: random_seed file is empty

message, I am atleast able to decrypt the messages and use curses now. I am thinking this error maybe being generated because I imported my keys and didn't generate the entrophy from this machine. Just a guess.
