Re: GTK+ apps in xfce4 broken GUI. No padding in main menu, in side panels

A couple of points:

1. Which Appearance (GTK) theme are you using? Since it looks like many of the apps that you posted about in the bug report (transmission, galculator, remina, etc) are GTK3 apps, you need to use a theme that properly supports GTK3. (This should address the menu padding issue).

2. Search the forums for posts regarding the recent 3.14 update, it has once again broken existing GTK3 themes. You'll need to use a theme that works okay in 3.14 or has been updated for 3.14. (This will probably address the other issues).

Re: GTK+ apps in xfce4 broken GUI. No padding in main menu, in side panels

Sounds like you need to install some GTK3-compatible themes. Try adwaita-x-dark-and-light-theme or xfce-theme-greybird from the AUR, for starters (These seem to work well in 3.14).

Searching the AUR also returns these: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/?O=0 … _Search=Go.
