[SOLVED] Stopping Caribou starting in Gnome 3

This has bugged me since I went over to Gnome 3 on my Desktop box.

How to stop Gnome 3 starting a Caribou service that I will never ever use.

You cannot just pacman -Rdd caribou - Gnome refuses to start.   It isn't started by systemd(spit).

The answer, and I post it for all the others totally pissed off with programmers who know best (called Poetterings or Sievers in the trade), is to edit at root:

/usr/share/dbus-1/services/org.gnome.Caribou.Daemon.service

and put # before the line starting exec.
