e17: eap editor fails to create any eap's

I just tried e17, as found in fouiny's repo. I find that any attempt to use the eap editor results in no eap file created in

~/.e/e/applications/all

When I perform the same move in e17 as found on Vector linux, it seems to work okay.

I'm new to e17, so must be missing something.

Re: e17: eap editor fails to create any eap's

Okay, I got eap editor to finally created icons in applications/all. But I can't seem to figure out how to place an icon image in there the way I like it. I read the online docs over at get-e.org and don't find a way to change the icon image for a saved .eap.

I had the same problem. I just create them manually. Remember, it's still in early development.

Re: e17: eap editor fails to create any eap's

I wrote a script to creat my .eap-files some time ago.

Maybe this would help.

Works beautifully. Thanks so much. I was ready to ditch this WM until it's more developed, until I tried out that script.
