Hi all,
After the update of systemd (216-3 -> 217-6), my wifi was not detected after boot. "dmesg" contains the following lines:
[ 9.877366] Intel(R) Wireless WiFi driver for Linux, in-tree:
[ 9.877368] Copyright(c) 2003- 2014 Intel Corporation
[ 9.877406] iwlwifi 0000:25:00.0: enabling device (0000 -> 0002)
[ 9.877470] iwlwifi 0000:25:00.0: can't disable ASPM; OS doesn't have ASPM control
[ 9.877535] iwlwifi 0000:25:00.0: irq 50 for MSI/MSI-X
[ 9.877663] iwlwifi 0000:25:00.0: Direct firmware load failed with error -2
[ 9.877665] iwlwifi 0000:25:00.0: Falling back to user helperwhen running "rfkill list", it shows me:
$ rfkill list

- Downgrade "systemd" to version 216-3 with the LTS kernel (linux-lts 3.14.23-1)
- Use the non-LTS kernel (linux 3.17.2-1) with most recent "systemd" version (systemd 217-6)
Preferred solution:
- Use most recent version of "systemd" with the LTS kernel
Is there any way to find out whats causing this problem? I really want to fix this.
P.S. feel free to move my post if its in the wrong section

any ideas? I have annoying issues with the current kernel version (GPU hangs) and therefore really need to use linux-lts
