I have noticed that a number of fonts are not being antialiased when rendered on Chromium, producing ugly and often unreadable output. The very same fonts render nicely under Firefox. The following images should give a sense of what I am seeing:

I have the sharpfonts AUR package installed and it is the sharpfonts fontconfig rules which seem to be causing the issue. Up to this point, the sharpfonts rules worked beautifully across my entire desktop. The fact that I am now getting different font output from Chromium and Chromium alone would seem to suggest that it is somehow interpreting my fontconfig rules differently. Can anyone shed some light on what is happening here?
