I noticed today that my Thinkpad T61 running Arch Linux (64-bit, 3.17.2-1-ARCH) is not regonizing my PS/2 to USB adapter at all. There is absolutely nothing in dmesg about the adapter when I plug it in and the mouse connected to it doesn't work. If the adapter is connected at boot it is shown in dmesg listing somewhere around 18 seconds after boot but even then I can't use my mouse. The adapter is working as it worked on another computer when I tried it.

Edit: I forgot to mention that the USB ports do work. They worked just fine with a memory stick. Also for some reason the adapter works now. I had this laptop suspended and then after resume it just worked. The adapter was plugged in all the time.
