Pulseaudio no sound

Hi guys, I just installed arch linux and proceeded to configure sound, in shell i unmuted everything in alsa mixer and when i tested my sound it worked, than i installed gnome and use gdm to start it, not sure if that's relevant. but there is no sound, in alsamixer the default device is pulseaudio and its not muted but when it does not produce sound, if i kill pulseaudio there is sound again. I suppose pulseaudio is outputing through the wrong device but I don't have enough knowledge to fix it.

Reply to myself, sorry for posting, the device got muted again when pulseaudio ran so i unmuted it again and now it works fine.
