DRDY Errors when plugging in power

I have been getting errors like this when pluggin or removing AC to my laptop.

Nov 22 18:33:17 arch-laptop kernel: ata2.00: exception Emask 0x10 SAct 0x8000 SErr 0x50000 action 0xe frozen

Nov 22 18:33:18 arch-laptop kernel: ata2.00: configured for UDMA/133
Nov 22 18:33:18 arch-laptop kernel: ata2: EH complete

The solution that I have come up with is to change the setting for CONTROL_INTEL_SATA_POWER in /etc/laptop-mode/conf.d/intel-sata-powermgmt.conf as follows...

# Control Intel SATA chipset power management?
# Set to 0 to disable
CONTROL_INTEL_SATA_POWER="0"

Changing this setting stops the error from occurring.

I am curious is anyone else has run into this?

This is on a Lenovo U530 Ideapad laptop.
