Display Port audio does not work with ALSA (but works with Pulse)

Hello,

I am trying to make audio over DP work on my laptop (Dell L702x) but I can't.
If I switch to Pulse it works out of the box (but I don't want to switch to Pulse).

The output of aplay -l is:

Any ideas?

Did you check the sound output with "alsamixer" ?
