Hello,
since beginning of this year I noticed my Brother DCP-585cw printer shrinking it's printouts to the bottom right corner of an A4 page, whenever customizing any printer-option different from default value.
This happens on two of my systems, using Archlinux. It doesn't matter wheather printing PDF, Images or Office-Documents.
Other printers from different manufacturers work correctly.
I cannot identify, wheather it is a Brother-Issue or related in recent updates of cups or ghostscript.
A) Has anyone noticed this behaviour too?
B) How can I capture all programms/processes during a specific time, to find out, which programs are invoked into the printing-pipieline by the brother tools? It would be great, if I could also capture their arguments.
Any Suggestions?
Informations:
brother-dcp585cw 1.1.2-2
cups 2.0.1-1
cups-filters 1.0.61-3
libcups 2.0.1-1
ghostscript 9.15-1
Linux PCNAME 3.17.4-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Nov 21 21:14:42 CET 2014 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Thank you in advance.

For finally closing this thread:
There seems to be a bug with printing in reverse order. I couldn't find out the exact origin of this problem but as a workaround just disable printing in reverse order.
