[SOLVED] pulseaudio random CubebUtils beep
Recently I started hearing a random beep/notification sound coming from CubebUtils. By random I mean it plays at random time intervals, usually a few seconds apart.
This is what it sounds like:

It's very short so I can't just mute it from pavucontrol, I actually needed to record the screen to see it's source was in pavucontrol.
What is this and how can I stop it? I don't even know what CubebUtils is, pacman -Ss cubeb gives nothing and google doesn't help.

I solved it. A website I always keep open in the background recently added a chat at the bottom of the page that makes a sound every time someone says something.

/usr/share/sounds/freedesktop/stereo/message.oga from sound-theme-freedesktop package sounds similar.
