Then you might want to share with the class what you are uncertain about.  The issues you've raise in the thread have been solved.  Everything is working as expected.  If you want input on something else you'd need to tell us what it is.

Have tint2 showing on screen after changing permissions of openbox/autostart from root to user
However the opening grub screen is still only text, not graphic
Also trying to load conky

can't set the specified locale

And what do any of these have to do with the problem in this thread?  Start new threads for different issues.  Better yet, search for those errors and solve the problem yourself.

Don't end up becoming a help vampire.

Threads where other users volunteer to help with one problem only to be dragged into every other completely unrelated desire of yours saps the energy of would-be helpers.  It damages the community, and makes others much less likely to help you in the future.

As this thread has taken the full course possible in a productive direction I'm closing it before it goes into a more counterproductive direction.
