Upgrading orc package broke webcam audio capture

After having upgraded the orc package to latest version 0.4.23-1, the audio capture of my Logitech Webcam C310 was corrupted: the captured audio was heavily distorted with words of human speech almost unintelligible.
I am using PulseAudio and KDE on x86_64. The audio capture of my onboard sound card ("Built-in Audio") is not affected by this issue.

Downgrading the orc package to version 0.4.22-2 resolved this issue. Therefore, I added the orc package to the ignore list of the pacman.conf (IgnorePkg) to prevent future upgrade.

I searched on Internet and I could not find any reference to this particular issue. Does anybody have the same issue?
Is this Arch-specific or more general?
I am able to provide more details if someone is interested in investigating this issue.

Thank you,

LVX
