[SOLVED] Brightness keys not being detected

I am running Arch Linux on an Asus UX32LN.
Setting display brightness by echoing to /sys/class/backlight/intel_backlight/brightness works, but when I tried to bind it to FN+F5/F6 keys I realized those keys don't trigger any actions.
I checked generated scan codes using xev and showkey but when I press Fn+F5/F6 nothing is logged. Other Fn keys like multimedia keys are working quite well.
Also installing/reinstalling xf86-input-keyboard didn't help, if that's somehow related.

Re: [SOLVED] Brightness keys not being detected

Try the "acpi_osi=" kernel parameter.

Dual video card, see bumblebee troubleshooting whether it's of any help.

Re: [SOLVED] Brightness keys not being detected

Thanks! "acpi_osi=" parameter solved the problem, though I only have 10 levels of brightness now. Marking as solved.

Be clearer.
Which one?
Somebody out there will find it useful.
