[Solved] Flashplugin version stuck in Firefox

Hi All,

I have the extra/flashplugin package installed, having the version 11.2.202.425-1. Adobe flash previously has been blacklisted by Mozilla due to security issues, affecting the versions =< 11.2.202.424. Despite the version is already .425 (right click on flash areas also shows this), Firefox keeps warning me about the outdated plugin, and on the about:addons page it appears to have version 11.2.202.418.

In other browsers, like Firefox Developer edition, the version is recognized correctly.

I searched in about:config, if the wrong version number is stored somewhere in the settings, haven't found anything.

My main browser is Firefox with Pentadactyl, up to date versions from Arch repositories.

Any ideas to fix this would be appreciated!

Re: [Solved] Flashplugin version stuck in Firefox

Go to ~/.mozilla/firefox/something.default-something/
Close firefox and delete the pluginreg.dat file in the above directory. Make sure to close firefox first otherwise the file may be rewritten on firefox exit with old data.
