Intel wireless AC 7260 dropping connection

Hi,

My laptop keeps constantly dropping the connection. It happens quite randomly and I already varied a lot of factors to find the culprit (latest kernel, lts kernel; wicd, netctl; networkmanager; with a vpn on top, and without; iwlwifi 11n_disable=1). I cannot find the reason.

Any ideas?

I'm away from home, so cannot actually add any support, but I've been having the same issue with the Intel 7260 these past couple weeks.  It's been working fine for a long time, and suddenly a ton of issues.  I've tried using the LTS kernel with the same results.
