kde5 fresh install worked - now black screen only mouse

so my fresh kde installation worked last night.  i installed plasma-next, xf5, xf5-aids and

[root@redtail-linux wolfdogg]# pacman -Qm
kscreen-git r547.6f91cad-1
libkscreen-git r522.6fece06-1

i installed the kscreen to get multiple monitors working.

i then relized i had no working dolphin anywhere to be seen, and launching any folder would take me to the app that asks me what i want to do with this file...

so i thought i would try to install kde4 dolphin manually like some others, but without finind any documenttion for it. so i installed kdebase-dolphin, it asked me about phonon vs vc, and the other question about what apps i wanted to go along wtih this, i just took the default option there, then it installed.

soemtime since , now everytime i log into kde using (SDDM), the plasma desktop loading wallpaper comes up with its blue line through it while its loading, then at some point, one, then two monitors goes backlit black, with the mouse showing somewhere on one of the two.

i can move the mouse, i cant right click.

my xsession errors http://codepad.org/XFRKn2sQ its showing something a problem with a shared kscreen object.

i dont know where to go from here

Remove libkscreen-git and install libkscreen-frameworks from [extra]

Re: kde5 fresh install worked - now black screen only mouse

ok i can click on alt f2 i think it is, then i see the kde input box there, that works..  i was able to run chromium, that works, and right clicking on that works.  so this tells me i just dont have a desktop anymore.  how do i get that runnign again?

also, prior to the OP, i had already tried to delete the .kde4 folder.  is this the right one for kde5 install?

Re: kde5 fresh install worked - now black screen only mouse

so i typed that last message wtihout knowing you replied.

when i remove libkscreen-git i get dependency issues.  ksreen-git requires libkscreen-git, and plasma-workspace required libkscreen-frameworks is what its saying.  are you suggesting forcing something here?

No, remove kscreen-git also. This is not meant to be used with stable plasma. Use the kscreen-frameworks package instead

You may try to install ksreen-frameworks from AUR (it depends on libksreen-frameworks), but I think that problem isn't it in. Try to copy all *rc files related to kwin or plasma to *rc.bak, then delete all backuped *rc files and restart Plasma. Maybe it helps.

Same problem on Kubuntu 14.10, did the trick with rc files helped?
