Hi All,
I'm not even sure what the culprit is here (arch, awesome, xorg...) but I just did a full system update (i.e. pacman -Syu) and now all menus in all windws (e.g. Firefox, Xfe, Eclipse) use an ugly serif font that I would like to change to something a little more aesthetically pleasing. To be honest, I'm not entirely sure that this wasn't always the case, but after the update it just doesn't look right. Either way, I'm sure this is something that can be changed.
I've been googling for the past 3 hours but nothing useful has turned up. I've tried modifying the '*font' variable in .Xresources, I've changed 'theme.font' in my theme.lua file for Awesome (which fixed the status bar fonts but nothing else) and I've found nothing useful in /etc/fonts/fonts.conf
I've done very little X customization in the past, so any help would be very appreciated.
Thanks!
Kyle

You can either use lxappearance or modify ~/.gtkrc-2.0(.mine) yourself.

That did it! Thanks, Head_on_a_Stick, lxappearance made things nice and simple.
