[SOLVED] Gnome's automatic time zone setting never triggers

Whenever I travel across timezones, I need to open Date & Time Settings and turn Automatic Time Zone off and then on again. When I do that, the timezone updates correctly. Is there maybe a super-long refresh interval on that feature by default? Or some optional package I need to install to actually enable it? Thanks for any suggestions.

Open up gnome-control-center and go to "Privacy" and check if the "Location Services" are turned on.

Oh good call, that was off. I'll assume that was the issue. (I guess turning on Automatic Time Zone does one location check irrespective of the setting?)
