[SOLVED] Pulseaudio and chrome audio clipping
Hello
Whenever I open a vine/tumblr video in chrome its volume is extremely loud, to the point of clipping. If I open pavucontrol and set the video's volume slightly higher than the master volume it returns to normal, but reducing the volume anywhere below master causes the clipping.
I tried deleting my ~/.pulse folder and restarting pulse multiple times, but nothing seems to work.

Update: If I disable flat-volumes then nothing I do fixes the clipping except muting the audio.
Final Update: it seems that changing the default sample rate to 48000 as suggested here fixed my problem.
