So, I've been playing Starbound recently. Great little games, needs some work here and there. I've noticed that my sound, MY ENTIRE COMPUTER'S SOUND just suddenly cuts out. I originally had this problem when I only had ALSA. Someone on the IRC chat got me to install Pulse, and that fixed it for a little while, after working my butt off to get Pulse working in the first place.
Using 'journalctl -fb' I noticed something interesting. Each time the sound cuts out, I get this in the journal:
Feb 05 04:34:47 AlienArch kernel: perf interrupt took too long (2504 > 2495), lowering kernel.perf_event_max_sample_rate to 50100Searching this tells me that this is a benign error, but it seems to have something to do with my sound cutting out, since it occurs at nearly the same time.
Rebooting the machine seems to fix it for a little while, but it will either cut out randomly, or cut out a few minutes after opening Starbound...
I will provide as much logs and details as asked, I just request that you also tell me where I can get said logs, or what commands are needed.

If you don't run Starbound, does the problem go away?

No, it persists until my machine is restarted. And it does happen on rare occasions when I am NOT playing Starbound.
EDIT!
Got that error again. Sound is still working! It seems to only happen with Starbound, both the 32 and 64 bit versions...
EDIT EDIT!
So, I have isolated the problem to Starbound. NO LOGS show anything to support the loss of sound!
EDIT x3!
GODDAMNIT! It seems FLASH from flash-plugins is ALSO causing my sound to give up!
EDIT x4!
MOTHER... It just happened on random. I mean, nothing was running, nothing was using sound. It just happened.
