Keyboard / Mouse are not recognized with new update

When booting my computer, my keyboard and mouse are not recognized until I plug them into a new USB port. This happened after rebooting with the latest update.

Any ideas what could be happening?

What was upgraded from last update?  Have you tried some of the numerous solutions out there?
