[Solved] Jalv2 & jallibs outdated

Hello,

Interested on jal programming I discovered that mentioned packages are orphaned.
I've tried to correct the PKGBUILD for the new versions, but I got an error to compile jalv2

cc -MMD -MF .dep/jal_main.d -c -o .obj/jal_main.o -O0 -Werror -ansi -pedantic -W -Wall -Wshadow -Wcast-qual -Wcast-align -g   jal_main.c
make[1]: *** No rule to make target '../libpic12/libpic12.a', needed by '../../bin/jalv2'.  Stop.

In fact there's no libpic12.a in the entire package.
Against all my willings I don't know how to fix this error.

EDIT
For those interested, the simplest procedure, as mentioned below, it just take to edit the PKGBUILD for the latest version within the tarball from AUR.

jalv2 version 2.4q2 builds fine here with makepkg.

Is your system fully uptodate ?

Please post the complete build output.

I update daily.
I just tried with a simple make in the unpacked directory, but the problem still there.
I've also tried the latest version. It gives something different

jal_vdef.c:707:13: error: format ‘%u’ expects argument of type ‘unsigned int’, but argument 4 has type ‘size_t’ [-Werror=format=]
             vals_ct + 1);
             ^
cc1: all warnings being treated as errors
../Makefile.inc:46: instruction set for the object ".obj/jal_vdef.o" failed
make[1]: *** [.obj/jal_vdef.o] Error 1

I don't know what is missing here.
Can you post your PKGBUILD ?

I only needed to change the version number, no other changes were needed.
2.4o , 2.4q2 & 2.4q3 all build fine on my system.

Maybe you changed build flags in makepkg.conf ?

I found my mistake.
I forgotten to include the patch which comes along with the AUR tarball.
The procedure is to download the AUR tarball and edit the PKGBUILD for the newest version.
