Hello, since it is an issue caused because of the system update, but related to the software updated and no because of the update process I didn't know very well where should I post it... so I've decided to post it here just in case it is a simple configuration issue.
With Pulseaudio 5.0 and libpulse 5.0 I listened the same audio through the rear and the front green jacks at the same time. This is how I want it to be, so I was very happy with it this way.
After updating Pulseaudio and libpulse to the 6.0 version, when there is a jack plugged in the rear output the fornt output is muted automatically. In fact, it is never activated unless you activate it manually through pavucontrol. Nevertheless, the pavucontrol changes are not persistant.
If I activate the front output in pavuncontrol I listen the same audio through both outputs (rear and front), my desired behavior, but, when I unplug the rear jack and plug in it back, the front output its muted automatically again.
Downgrading to Pulseaudio and libpulse 5.0 solves my problem. But you know you must have the latest version of packages installed in Archlinux in order to have support.
Using the same /etc/pulse/daemon.conf for both versions does not solve the problem.
How can I listen the same audio output through both outputs (rear and front) at the same time in Pulseaudio 6.0?

Similar issue here. The front connection for the headphones in my case just doesn't play anything. If I plug my headphones in the front, the speaker connected on the rear plug is (correctly) muted, but no output comes out of the headphones. No fiddling with pavucontrol can give me sound on the front plug. Everything used to work with version 5.0. Any idea? I'm seriously fed up with pulseaudio breaking something at every update.
EDIT: seems like downgrading pulseaudio still doesn't make it work. I'll try to see what else broke it.

I just downgraded libpulse, lib32-libpulse and pulseaudio to their 5.0.1 version and everything works fine again. Later with some extra time I'm gonna check the config files to see what's the change or something.
