Use bspwm or i3 as the wm for Cinnamon?

Is it possible to switch out the default wm of cinnamon for a more popular one like bspwm or i3? If so, how?

Hello,

Did you have a look at the documentation on general recomendations after you installed arch linux (it is linked from the installation guide... smile ), have a look at the graphical user interface section: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ge … _interface.

I also suggest that you take some time to read and search for arch wiki pages on things that you whant to accomplish. All of the above [wm] you mention have a dedicated wiki - with everything from installation to basic setup, see for example: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Bspwm

Regards
Martin

It is advised to follow the How to post guide when posting on the Arch forum. If one consciously jumps over these elementary steps like reading the wiki and providing necessary information about the problem, one can be regarded as a Help Vampire.
