Arch Linux works on Lenovo's IdeaPad B750

Hi!

I've succeeded in installing Arch Linux on my IdeaPad B750. There is no entry
for this AiO in the respective hardware section in the Wiki, and I'd like to help
updating the information.

How should I proceed?

Best regards,

Albert

Re: Arch Linux works on Lenovo's IdeaPad B750

It depends on:

#1 Most functionality worked and you only needed a few workarounds. In that case, add an entry in https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/HCL/Laptops/Lenovo

#2 Installation and configuration was a pain in the ass and required several, non-obvious workarounds. In that case you may create a new page. Use a high quality page as example for your new one:

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/ASUS_N550JV
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Chromebook

i.e you only add which does not work, and don't add bloat like lspci output or manufacturer specifications (a link to latter is fine)

edit: oh, thought it was a laptop. Well, same applies to this "AiO" I guess.

AiO?  I had to look that up, and still am not sure - is that All-in-one?

Is there a reason to have a page specifically for it in the wiki?  Was there anything challenging or non-standard about the installation?

mod note: not really a kernel/hardware issue, not sure if there is any issue, but as the sole question is about potentially creating a wiki page, I'll move this to the wiki discussion section.

Re: Arch Linux works on Lenovo's IdeaPad B750

Thanks for the quick replies. Yes, AiO means All-in-One. I saw this shortcut on several pages about
the B750, so I thought it's a common one ;-).

Most stuff worked out of the box, so I'll update the respective Lenovo page. I had one problem
related to the Nvidia card: the nouveau driver _mostly_ works, but when shutting down X, the
computer froze. Switching to the nvidia driver fixed this.
