The latest package for this ftp daemon is missing the executable file bftpd.
Won't work without it. I got a suprise, so I uninstalled and reinstalled an older version.
I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts...

Easy to fix, yet the bug is still open. I posted a comment on how to fix it, hopefully someone will update it soon.
