Can't chainload GRUB core.img from syslinux

Hello everybody,

I am trying to chainload GRUB core.img from Syslinux. When I select the entry from the Syslinux menu, it says: core.img: invalid argument. I have not yet edited the GRUB configurations to my likings. My arguments are:
LABEL grub
    MENU LABEL GRUB 2
    LINUX /boot/grub/i386-pc/core.img
    APPEND root=/dev/sda1 rw
What am I doing wrong?

Re: Can't chainload GRUB core.img from syslinux

That's not how you chainload.  The LINUX line is for loading a Linux kernel.  GRUB's core.img is not a Linux kernel hence the error.
