Hi All;
I've tried to use my little bluetooth headset (Plantronics ML20) with the new pulseaudio 6.0 now....it doesn't really work though.
I can pair and connect the headset just fine and it shows up in pulseaudio (say in pavucontrol)
However nothing seems to be coming to or from it.
In pavucontrol there is the input devices tab and it does show up there. However unlike the mic in my laptop or webcam it does not have the little monitor bar showing the level. Same with the output tab.
If I try switching the output of a program to the headset there is no audio that plays and the program just seems to stop until I reset it.
I have attached the section of my pulseaudio log that shows up when I do the switch. The only thing I can notice in here is this line:
D: [pulseaudio] resampler.c: rate 8000 -> 25 (method peaks)
As I read that is is trying to resample from 8khz (what I assume myheadset can handle) down to 25hz which is ridiculous of course.
Other than that nothing else stands out in the pulse log or the system journal. Anyone have an idea?
I have tried resetting my pulseaudio and bluetooth config files to the defaults from the package files with no change. I have also tried "Enable=Socket" in the bluetooth config with no luck.
