[SOLVED] Don't do anything when monitor's disconnected

Hi.

I use Cinnamon, but I don't think there is an option for it to disable it, so I'm looking for Xorg solution.

To put simply - I want to *ignore* and don't run any events  [like moving windows/panel] when monitor is disconnected for OS. Is it possible?

I use Nvidia binary driver.

Re: [SOLVED] Don't do anything when monitor's disconnected

System think's thats the case, yes. But actually I'm using DVI switcher and change output on my main monitor to virtual machine GPU (KVM/Qemu). And don't want for OS to shuffle my windows and put them on side monitor.

Alright, I found a solution, unfortunately nvidia-specific.

Add "Option "UseHotPlugEvents" "false"" to Monitor section in xorg.conf, works perfectly and still can manually reload monitor settings with xrandr.
