Btrfs snapshots with dm-crypt

My question is related to procedure of snapshots with ssd encrypted and formatted with btrfs. My actual configuration is the following : a container (located to /dev/mapper/root), it's formatted with brtrfs and has five subvolumes (output of "btrfs subvolume list /"):

ID 257 gen 10 top level 5 path __active
ID 258 gen 7 top level 5 path __snapshots
ID 259 gen 4618 top level 257 path __active/rootvol
ID 260 gen 4651 top level 257 path __active/home
ID 261 gen 4651 top level 257 path __active/var

when I try to create a snapshot

btrfs subvolume snapshot __active/rootvol __snapshots/rootsnap

I have always the same error:

 ERROR: error accessing '__active/rootvol'

Where I wrong?
