[SOLVED]X stopped working Segmentation fault at address 0x14

Hi all, its my first post so please if i forgot post something dont eat me sad
im using archlinux with Xmonad on a double screen monitor (diferent resolution) and i had a lot of troubles with it.

the fact is today i allready solved that problem but after reboot, when i type manually startx to initialize xmonad, it crashed. Its the second time it happens to me and last time i just formated and re-installed all again.

heres my .xinitrc and the log of the error of X.

#!/bin/sh

if [ -d /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.d ] ; then
 for f in /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.d/?*.sh ; do
  [ -x "$f" ] && . "$f"
 done
 unset f
fi
setxkbmap -layout es &

xsetroot -cursor_name letft_ptr &

xrdb -merge ~/.Xresources &

exec xmonad

Re: [SOLVED]X stopped working Segmentation fault at address 0x14

Hi,

I'm having the same problem on my main computer using a Razer Blackwidow keyboard too. This problem seems to appear after upgrading libinput from 0.12.0-1 to 0.13.0-1. That computer is running a x86-64 installation of Arch.

If I unplug the Razer Blackwidow keyboard or downgrade libinput it works again.
My X.org.log reads very much the same in the end as the one coyote3007 provided:

My conclusion:
The crash occurs with libinput version 0.13.0-1 if some specific keyboards (Razer Blackwidow) are plugged in and only on x86-64 systems (based on my test with a i686 installation).

Re: [SOLVED]X stopped working Segmentation fault at address 0x14

I opened a bug report upstream:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=89783

Other Razer input devices (mice) seem to be affected by this bug too.
