[gnome 3.16] Multimonitor with intel-virtual-output screen artifacts

I have upgraded to gnome 3.16 in testing and noticed that windows will produce artifacts (like tearing/shifted frames) when the content is changed. This is sometimes fixed on redraw, but always happens when any changing output has to be displayed. Screenshot is not possible, at it doesnt show the bug. I could post a photo, if the problem description is too obscure. The internal display works perfectly still.

My setup is a latop with nvidia optimus running the standard x64 archlinux kernel. I use bumblebee with the proprietary nvidia drivers. The display connectors are all connected to the dedicated gpu, thus I use intel-virtual-output to connect to the external monitor. This has worked wonderfully prior to the upgrade to testing today.

I hope the question is in the right place, since I cannot exactly pinpoint which component is responsible for the failure..

My questions are:

Could changes in Mutter be responsible for this behavior?
Which logs could be of assistance?
